Serious Board Game
HEATopoly is a serious game for students and professionals to enhance their knowledge about energy cooperation in industrial and residual areas. The participants do not only learn about energy cooperation, but also experience themselves what the opportunities and barriers of energy cooperation projects are through the interactive set-up.

Imagine… The region of R-ACEDONIA is an important European industrial hub surrounded by beautiful nature and rivers. The economy has been thriving over the past years due to large investments within the industrial sector. It resulted in growth of the industry, the city and the surrounding villages. However, the carbon footprint and energy bill of the area are rising. Citizens are becoming concerned about the environmental impact of the growing industry. Besides, the government is demanding from all regions to take measures that help achieve the national climate targets. Therefore, different actors started looking for innovative ideas to tackle this issue.
